Posh Spice To Join LA Galaxy As Part Of Swap Deal For David Beckham

With husband David Beckham having decided to stay at AC Milan until the summer, it was confirmed last night that a deal had been struck with LA Galaxy that would see Posh Spice move the other way as part of the deal.
“She’s not a straight replacement for Beckham”, claimed a representative for the MLS side, “as nobody could be, but hopefully she can at least, I don’t know, dance like a crab or something. Can she do that, dance like that I mean?”
Sources close to the couple admit that Posh is desperate to prove herself in America, and feels that the MLS is a league that merits her commitment.
“She’s keen to get in there and start kicking some balls”, said Galaxy coach Bruce Arena. “It’s good to see that despite her celebrity, she’s more than willing to get stuck in with the lads.”
Posh hasn’t played at all since 2007, when doctors advised her that her skeleton was retarded.
“She’s certainly brave, I’ll give her that”, said midfield quarterback Chris Klein. “If I was her I’d probably take a lot of showers or something, I don’t know, something weird though.”
